[Building Sakai] Samigo & Section Info

Well, it's always possible there will be "gotchas" but I would say if it
builds, deploys and starts correctly and you run through a basic set of
QA tests to ensure that you don't get any runtime dependency errors
(e.g. from missing JARs, dependencies, etc.), then it should be safe.

Yes. Sure that I can't backport that huge patch... :-)

Just a question: is it safe to get a branch of an advanced version of a

tool and fit it in a earlier version of Sakai?

Or a more specified question: getting the 2.6 Samigo and integrating it

in a 2.5.3 installation changing poms, etc. could be safe in a 
production environment?

I could try the 2.6 branch of Samigo in our test server, but I'm a 
little scared about using it in production.
