[Building Sakai] Question about the user profile

Hi Sam,

Once a user has filled their Profile, the Roster exposes this information. It depends which version Sakai though, as the upcoming 2.7 release uses Profile2 which has a different set of privacy controls to allow this sharing. 

Other tools are able to make use of the Profile information as well, like YAFT, a new Forums tool: http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/YAFT/Yaft
