Yes!

We have discussions about dealing with "guests" in Sakai with all of the schools we implement.  It is very common for an institution to remove the ability to add guest users via the guest participant box.

This is a contributed patch that makes the display of the "add 
guest user" textbox in Worksite Setup/Site Info OPTIONAL. It 
appears to be running in production in a few places, including 
Columbia. See the link above for previous discussion.

Is there interest for including this feature in a future Sakai 
release?
