[Building Sakai] Weird SU reports in Sakai 2.4.x

Hi all,

I'm curious as to how the SU (Become User) admin tool works as we've had reports of missing and incorrect information by the actual user after an SU has been used.

For instance, we have an in-house tool to author subject outlines for their subject (course) sites which uses the UserDirectoryService to get the users EID.  If I SU as a different user to view their list of outlines, the user will sometimes see nothing in their list (when they had outlines before the SU).  Apparently this can happen during the SU as well as after the admin has logged out.

Any ideas as to why this might be occurring?
