Ubuntu has openjdk 6 on the package manager now, but I thought I 
remembered hearing about a few tiny parts that Sun never got the IP 
cleared for and open sourced (may have changed by now), but I don't 
think any of it was necessary for tomcat like apps.

I was just thinking for ease and speed of building a demo VM, the more 
stuff you can just from apt-get the better.
