[Building Sakai] Long URL in Assignment Attachment

Hi All,

When adding attachment to assignments and using URL link to point back to a
resource to a folder in workspace creates a really long URL which combined
with the prefixes could in certain cases go beyond the 255 character limit
in "content_resources" for resource_id column. Given the MySql DB limitation
on this, what other ideal solution that anyone else facing the same
situation has adapted/applied?
