I use Edia's Skin Selector and Skin Manager tools to make changes to the user workspace skins.

Works great.

Subject: Re: [Building Sakai] Multiple Default Skins for My Workspace?

You can easily change it manually as admin, in the sites tool, searching by internal the userID (you can copy it form the users tool) you can edit the site and change the skin to any you have in the skin library.

But... there is a bug. Your skin will change all... but only the first time you enter, because when you make your first click in any tool the logo and the banner will change to the logo and banner in the default skin you have defined in your sakai.properties.

Until someone patch the bug, our very ugly solution is to have a default skin without logo neither banner so you will have for your customer workspace their skin with all their corporative colours, but without logo. When they change to the demo site you have created, then they will see their logo in the site.

There is a jira with this problem (http://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-6239 )
