[Building Sakai] Sakai from Windows Desktop

I looked at the Cambridge widgets, but couldn't find anything that worked without involving setup on the server. As I recall, it was simply a matter of installing it on my desktop, providing the url and login info, and that was it. Thanks, anyway.

Possibly was one of these widgets that Cambridge worked on a few years ago.

I don't believe that any new work has been contributed on any of these projects since 2008. All the source is on that page though.

About a year ago, I remember downloading a small experimental application that let me connect to my Sakai sites from my Windows desktop. It was simple web services app that did not require any fiddling with the server. Does anyone know if that app is still around?
