No, we are not in production on 11g. The rule of thumb for upgrading for 
us is "don't do the upgrade with release 1". Since Oracle 11gR2 just 
came out on September (not for Solaris yet), we have not done the 
upgrade yet.

Yes, with the release of 11gR2, we will plan the upgrade starting from 
development and test databases. Because the primary Oracle support for 
10gR2 will end on July, 2010, we are likely to do the upgrade in 
production before July, 2010. Since you are going to go live production 
on September, it may be better to start with Oracle 11gR2 now so that 
you don't need to through the production upgrade after going live.
