[Building Sakai] Automating the site creation process

We allow staff members to create sites - they basically use the same
workflow pages as when (us) administrators create sites. All this is managed
by a new type of site (of type 'admin'). In a nutshell, if a user is a
participant within one of these sites then they are able to create their
own.

We are in the process of committing back a patch (or patches) built against
trunk.

A good place to start is to look at our documentation, this will give an
idea of what can be done. If you're interested then get back in touch.

Subject: [Building Sakai] Automating the site creation process

We are looking to have an automated way that faculty can fill out a form
that will (a) Create a new course site or (b) copy content from an existing
course site into a new course site.

Has anyone developed this and would you be willing to share?

Thanks
