There are a lot of PPT-SWF converters, e.g. OpenOffice Impress is able to
convert PPT to SWF file. SWF looks much more narive in the web than PPT
files.

Maybe you should to try this?

Rosh,

PPT files on the web --  whether uploaded into Melete, a traditional web
page or another web app -- require users to download the files and view them
in PowerPoint or in a PowerPoint "Player", if your users have one.
