[Building Sakai] sakai2.5 configuration problem

hello sir,

I (gimmi agarwal) have installed sakai2.5 sucessfully on my machine but in
the process of configuration, i am facing some problem according to my
requirement.

my problems are:

1. how to edit/delete the motd?
2. how to change the content present on the home page of the gateway?
           sir, i have made some change in the server.info.html to make the
change in the home page of the gateway but when i redeploy sakai i don't get
success.
           plz, explain in  brief.
