Hi Gerwood,

Websphere Application Server (WAS) support is included in Sakai 2.6.
Building with the "-Pwas" profile parameter in mvn (eg. mvn clean install
-Pfull,was sakai:deploy) will create the EAR file that is deployable in
WAS. See
http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/SAKDEV/Section+-+Sakai+Source+Websphere+Build+(2.6)
for more info.

Our team has also done some initial experimentation with Sakai on Geronimo
/ WAS Community Edition. We're sorting out the Geronimo configuration
details and hope to get this working soon.

[Building Sakai] Sakai/Geronimo and EARs

Has anyone tried deploying Sakai in EAR form and similarly has anyone
tried deploying to a platform other than Tomcat?

Thanks
