[Building Sakai] Any issues when switching LDAP servers?

We have a Sakai campus that's using LDAP and they're considering a
switch from Novell to Active Directory...

Anybody had this kind of migration experience? If the data returned by
the LDAP server is consistent all should be smooth and sparkly, right?
