[Building Sakai] Feed Tool

I don't think it was ever finished. It was functional but definitely not polished up. The UI was pretty minimal. If I remember correctly, some work was done to get Forums, Messages, Announcements and Gradebook pushing some events to the "feed", but those branches are probably pretty out-of-date now. I think it was in good enough shape that it was demo-ed at the Paris conference. We never put it in production here at IU.

Thanks Michelle. Does that mean the tool was never finished or that it is production ready but no further features are added anymore?

Hi Mark,
Indiana started that project a while back, but it has not been worked on in quite some time. As far as I know, we don't have any plans to resume work on it in the near future. The developer who did most of the work is no longer working here, but I can try to answer any questions you may have if you want to look into it further.
Have a wonderful day,
Michelle

Hi all,
Can anyone please give me a quick update on the Feed Tool (in contrib). It looks like a very nice tool but it seems there is no longer any active development on it.
Cheers,
