[Building Sakai] Wiki Message with JsMath

Perhaps you misunderstand me.
We followed the instructions on the web page and got rid of the " jsMath_Warning" which, yes, displays on the page even when there isnt any LaTeX notation present, but now we get a javascript pop up "error code -7" when there IS LaTeX on the page.
The point I was trying to make is could this message be changed to point out that since there's LaTeX on THIS page, it may be an idea to download jsmath fonts.
As it's a JavaScript 'alert' you wouldn't be able to actually click on anything but the message could give instructions: "Visit this webpage for instructions on how to download special maths fonts: http://.......". This would mean that users are only informed to download the fonts when they really need them.
Thinking a little more, there must be a bit javascript on a page that decides when to display this "-7" message, so couldn't that bit of javascript be altered to display the red warning message when the right conditions appear? This would then mena that the red "download" box would only appear when LaTeX was being used?

the thing is - the message displays all the time, not just when you have a {math} macro in the wiki post.
It would be great if it could detect that and then check for the fonts, but that's probably for a different list.

so after reading the instructions on the jsMath page about removing the message ... where the heck to you add that

WRT: Error code -7 message

I may have misunderstood when this message appears. On reflection, it may only appear when Latex is being used on a page and jsMaths fontys havent been installed.

To me, it would seem a much better idea to dispense with the "big scarey red warning" that Jon mentions and modify the "-7" message to say something along the lines of "It looks like you're using Mathematical notation on this page. May we suggest that you download jsMaths fonts form http://xxxxx ........."

If anybody does a patch for this then we'd be interested in applying it.
