[sakai-core-team] A few jiras for quick review (merge to 10.x?)

Hi fellow hard workers!

At the last core team call, we added a few jiras for revision. Would 
like to have someone commenting on them, already applied to trunk, just 
wanted to make sure that it is safe to merge them back to 10.x
