Subject: Re: [Deploying Sakai] SAKAI: Upgrade to 2.10.0

I am migrating from 2.9.3 to 2.10.0 sakai

We modified the naming scheme for this release. The release is just 10.0 not 2.10.0.

caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: velocity.log (Permission denied)

Here is the relevant error. This error means that you probably started Tomcat as a different user (maybe root user?) and now your current user doesn't have permissions to write to the velocity.log file. You should do a change ownership (chown) command to make all of the files owned by one user.
