[Deploying Sakai] Reg : Slow loading of Matrix in Portfolio

Hi, Prabhu. I've copied the development list, since this is certainly a software issue more than configuration or deployment.

10 minutes is very long. How big is this matrix (rows/columns) and how many users are in the site? Is this as a participant or only for reviewer/coordinator roles? Are there user groups configured?

Also, can you let us know how technical you or your team are? Improving this performance will likely be a technical development task (profiling, modifying Java/Hibernate code, rebuilding and testing).
