Portfolio content is mostly stored in the database, just like any other tool. Is portfolio content the only missing data?

Subject: [Deploying Sakai] Portfolio's not found

Hi,

I have imported the DB and resource folder from machine 1 to machine 2. Everything works fine. But when i check for the portfolios machine 2 is blank and asks to create a new portfolio, whereas the machine 1 previously holds many portfolios. So how to retrieve the portfolios from machine 1 to machine 2 ?

And where do the portfolios will be stored.. within the DB or any separate storage location is there that? If so where the storage location will be referenced?

looking for help...
