[Deploying Sakai] Switching from Oracle/Sun JVM to OpenJDK

We are currently running our production 2.6.x Sakai installation on
Sun/Oracle JVMs installed through Debian packages. In order to
harmonise setups across platforms and due the to the better release
schedule for OpenJDK under Debian we are looking at switch to OpenJDK.

Is anyone else using OpenJDK in production?
