[Deploying Sakai] Removal of users / data consistency

Hi,

are there any mechanisms for ensuring data consistency when a user, e.g. an instructor, is removed (not deactivated) from a course by using the webservices’ API?
What happens to the user’s contributions to the course, like uploaded documents or tests that have been published by the user?
Could there be some NullPointerExceptions due to inconsistent data in some tools?
