[Deploying Sakai] Changing 'My Workspace' of external user

Dear Steve,

I needed some time to get the right permissions to enter de SAKAI database.
But now I succeeded to find the EID and I was able to change the 'My Workspace' of the user!

Hi Karin,

Is is possible that user has not ever logged in? That might be the cause of not showing the internal uuid. You could check the database, SAKAI_USER_ID_MAP table to see if they have a corresponding uuid for their eid.

Also, is the nrenton1 at uva.nl<mailto:nrenton1 at uva.nl> the userid they login with, and that comes from the external authority, like LDAP?

Hi Karin,

In the Admin Workspace, if you use the Become User tool you can 'View User Info' for that user, just enter their eid, and you'll see thuir internal uuid.
