[Deploying Sakai] LDAP filter

 Hello,

I just installed sakai-2.7.1 and configured LDAP successfully.

We would like to restrict those users authorised to login to sakai to
a subset of the total users in our LDAP tree. eg we have students and
staff, and don't want all students to be able to log in. My plan was
to set an attribute for those users who are allowed to log in, and
check for this attribute.

I have looked at jldap-beans.xml but cannot see where I would be able
to filter out unauthorised users

Does anyone know if it's possible to restrict ldap users as described
above?
