[Deploying Sakai] Outgoing Email Configuration Error

Hi Sri,

For our mailserver I generally only need:
smtp at org.sakaiproject.email.api.EmailService=smtp.server.edu.au

So assuming xyz.edu is a valid SMTP server, it should work. What are your settings for your desktop mail client? The SMTP server should be the same.

However, your second issue is a DNS one, you need a valid serverName, eg:
serverName=alliance.anu.edu.au

cheers,
Steve
