Yes, you have a good point there. I'll look at it more closely. Not sure I have time right now to implement this, but I'll look at it. Thanks for your time. I notice that Profile2 is going to be in 2.7. If schools migrate from 2.6.x to 2.7, will the upgrade migrate everyone's Profile tool in their My Workspace sites over to the new Profile tool?

At this point, I just really wish there were an existing PhotoService extension (similar to what David mentioned) that would allow me to use URLs for student IDs instead of using the blob field. But that's over my head at this point. I guess I'll just have to wait on this issue.

Hi Paul,
The Profile tool doesn't look at the Account for any information. So the info in the Profile and the Account quickly gets out of sync. The email address  you add to the Profile isn't checked when sending emails either, only the one in the Account is.
I would highly recommend adding Profile2 to your installation if possible, as it overcomes these limitations (email changes are synced and can only be changed if the system permits it, a user's name comes from Account).
