[Deploying Sakai] 'Retract Now' button does not work in SAKAI Test and Quizzes

We are running SAKAI version 2.5.x. 'Retract Now' button on the Test and quizzes does not retract the assignment when an instructor tries to withdraw a test. Are we missing how it should work or is there something we missed in our configuration.
