[Deploying Sakai] (no subject)

You need to run the build again. The successful was just the install of the freemarker jar. It doesnt hurt rebuilding and redeploying anyway, so if in doubt 'mvn clean install' it. It won't take as long this time as it will have downloaded the necessary dependecies and put them in your local repo.

BTW, you shouldn't have removed the entire .m2 directory, as you would have deleted your Maven settings. Just the repository path. But don't do that again yet.

cheers,
Steve

But, one difference i found in the file permissions in both the machines, was that, in solaris it was creating some files(related to sakai only like 'common','components','webapps' etc.) with user as '501' and group user as 'others' while in fedora, for the same files, the user was 'mysql' and group user was 'wheel'. Does that make a difference...Is that any issue??
