[Deploying Sakai] 404 Error

Hi all,

first, I'm really new to SAKAI, anyway here is me installation question.

I've installed (explained in 
http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/DOC/Sakai+2.7 - Install: 
Binary) the binary of sakai 2.7.1 on a LAMP-Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Box 
(apache-2.2.14/Perl-5.10.1/MySQL-5.1.41/Tomcat-6.0.24/java version 
"1.6.0_20")

The binary file was downloaded and unpacked into /var/lib/tomcat6
Setting the permissions to the tomcat6 user was also done.

After restarting tomcat6, I'm getting an 404 error while browsing to 
http://sakai.ourdomain.tld:8080/portal

What do I'm missing?
