We just made this change last week and it all went fine.  I can talk to 
our DBA if you want more details about what he did.  Our only note is that 
if you're storing the body of the Resources in the table, it will take a 
while to complete.  We had bout 90,000 rows in that table and I think it 
ended up taking right around 8-10 hours to complete the data conversion.

IU uses CLOBs and BLOBs with no additional changes.  I believe that we 
made the change at the very beginning and didn’t have any conversion, but 
I might be mistaken.  I can check with our DBAs to confirm that statement!

On the particular problem we are having, we were just now able to
convert LONG RAW to BLOB on METAOBJ_FORM_DEF.SCHEMADATA in our test
environment and solves the problem reported in SAK-12914, but we haven't
had a chance yet to verify that other operations on that table continue
to work as expected.
