Longsight is pleased to announce a new webinar series to be offered
throughout 2014. The Sakai Showcase Webinar Series will focus on best
practices in teaching and learning, innovative strategies for technology
use, and other topics of interest to the Sakai Community. We plan to host
the webinars about once a month with a variety of different presenters.
Registration is free and open to the public. *We are still developing the
schedule and are looking for additional volunteers to present, so if you
are interested, please email me!*

Presenter: Martin Ramsay

The Learning Asset Management Project (LAMP) Consortium, a group of twelve
small private liberal arts colleges and universities located across four
states, shares a single instance of Sakai CLE. In 2008, LAMP won the Mellon
Award for Technology Collaboration. In this presentation, Martin Ramsay
will discuss how LAMP has leveraged their shared instance of Sakai to
foster collaborative goals across institutions.

Mr. Ramsay, founder and managing director of CEATH Company, is an
internationally recognized expert in combining organizational process and
human resource development with information technology. He was featured in
Fortune as “an expert on the organizational impact of new information
systems” who impresses clients with his “preparedness and clarity.” The
Center for Digital Education gave him their “In the Spotlight” Award,
calling him one of the “most innovative, hard-working, trend-setting IT
leaders in the nation.”
