[Portfolio] Documentation for review of IU Portfolio Tools enhancements

Yesterday I wrote with news about changes to the OSP/Portfolio community meeting schedule. In that message, I mentioned that IU will be presenting some enhancements to the Portfolios tool at the February 4 meeting, and I promised forthcoming documentation. The documentation is now available as a public, comment-able Google doc.  Regardless of whether you plan to attend the Feb 4 meeting or not, if your institution uses the Portfolios tool and cares about changes made to the tool, please review the documentation at the URL below, and post your comments or questions in the document itself or send them to this list.

Dear OSP/Sakai Portfolio Community Friends,

The regular attendees of the biweekly OSP/Portfolio community meeting recently decided to make some changes to our meeting schedule.  For now, we will be meeting on the first Monday of each month.  A call for agenda items will be issued a week before the meeting.  You may post your agenda items directly to the Portfolio (OSP) meetings page<https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/OSP/Portfolio+%28OSP%29+Meetings> in Confluence.  If no agenda items are posted, the meeting will be cancelled.

We will definitely be meeting on Monday, February 4.  At the February meeting, Indiana University will be presenting some changes we have made to the Portfolios tool in our local branch.  We would like to merge these changes back to trunk if there are no objections.  I will distribute a document describing each of the changes in the next couple of days.  During the meeting, I will do a live demo and answer questions.  If your institution is using the Portfolios tool, I encourage you to read the documentation and attend the meeting (or view the recording of the meeting), which I will post shortly after the meeting.  Please send any feedback, particularly any concerns about potential impact on your local portfolio efforts, to this list so others can see and react to them.

For the February 4th meeting, we'll be using both the IU audio bridge (for the voice part of the meeting) and Adobe Connect for screen sharing.  Details below and in Condluence:
