[Portfolio] OSP 2.8 critical issues

There are a number of OSP 2.8-related tickets with a priority of "critical" that have yet to be examined, based on a review of the comments section of each ticket.  Can a member or members of the OSP team review these issues and if possible resolve them.  I'd like to put out a 2.8 release candidate with no known critical issues.
