[Portfolio] FW: Internationalization of forms

FYI, the issue causing localization not to work in the VT form was that the schema defined the language as "en" (xml:lang="en") for most elements. So a word to the wise - let metaobj/Sakai handle your language settings.

David,

I noticed that in the schema most elements have a language defined (xml:lang="en"). Have these been there from the beginning, or did you guys add them in to try to fix the problem? I don't know what metaobj does with xml:lang definitions, but I'm suspicious. Can you try taking them out?

Hi Erica,

Thanks for looking into this. Here's the form. The renderer is in there as well...however what it actually does is import another xsl file which I've attached as well. I'm guessing its something in the second file that needs to be improved on our end or something in our schema file that is missing.

Thanks,
Dave

Has anyone else run into this and does any one have any ideas for solutions? At the bare minimum, we need the English to show up instead of nothing, which is what is showing up now.
