[Portfolio] Image Gallery

Hi,

We are working with an industrial design group and they are looking for a simple photo gallery.  We were wondering if anyone out there had anything like this.  We were thinking of having a portfolio point to a directory and then iterate over the images that were located in that directory and produce a gallery.  Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
