[Portfolio] Portfolio Creation Wizard Lag

This definitely sounds like SAK-14165 -- it was painful for our users  
as well. You should be able to back-port this to 2.5.x or 2.6.x (note  
that a 2.6.x fix requires a kernel change). We're running the fix in  
production in UM.
