Virginia Tech is seeking applicants for the position of Learning Systems
Architect. In the Learning Technologies division of Information
Technologies, the Learning Systems Architect plays a critical role in
designing and maintaining highly scalable systems to meet the needs of
Learning Technologies in cooperation with a wide variety of Information
Technology support groups.

The successful candidate will have a broad range of knowledge about and
experience with the hardware and software infrastructure behind
successful enterprise web applications and a history of implementing web
application systems that are secure, reliable, and high-performance.
Experience with Linux, Oracle, Apache httpd, Tomcat, bash, Perl, Java,
Ruby, and Subversion are highly desirable.
