The University of Michigan is somewhat decentralized, so we have several
lecture capture systems in use: Camtasia Relay, Media Site, Echo 360,
BlueReview, and CAEN Lecture Recording. The last two are homegrown systems
that use an LTI integration with our instance of Sakai. Relay has an
integration with Kaltura which we also have integrated with Sakai.

I'm not the best person to answer question #2 and #3, because I don't deal
directly with any of the vendors anymore, but I have not heard any negative
experiences with any of the vendors. I've had the most contact with
TechSmith (developed Camtasia Relay) and I can tell you they have very good
customer support and have a customer forum that seems to be responsive to
change requests.

enterprise-wide solution represents somewhat of an inefficiency. There are
also challenges in policies around funding/charge-back and archiving large
numbers of lectures.
