Hi Everyone,

First I would like to thank all who have been participating in the 2.9 QA
effort. We have made headway into the testing effort, but there is still a
lot of work that still needs to be done before the release. Below I have
outlined, in order of importance, the areas to focus current QA work:

Verify Resolved Issues - We have a list of 377 issues that have been
resolved and need to be tested and verified.
Please use the following link to get started:
https://jira.sakaiproject.org/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?mode=hide&requestId=13243
Use the trunk server to test these issues:
http://nightly2.sakaiproject.org/

Update Test Scripts - There are many test scripts that need to be updated.
If you or someone on your team has experience in making test scripts then
please visit
https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/QA/Test+Conditions+and+Scripts
. We are currently updating the pages, so make sure to check back
regularly.

Regression Testing of Tools - We need to continue regression testing to
make sure that we uncover any bugs and have them fixed before they make it
to the release version.

There is much to be done, but I know that we can make a significant impact
if everyone contributes to the QA effort.

Thank You again and happy testing!

Sincerely,
Rob Egan
