 Hello all:

Apologies for cross-postings.

I was reviewing some of your Sakai sites for an assessment of how "Help and Support" files have been deployed.  I've seen some creative and inventive ways of providing support, and am interested in exploring that further.

I hope there are some out there, who would be willing to share your effective practices with me?  You can email me off list if that's easier (lorie at uwindsor.ca) as I'd be happy to summarize and share with the list.

Here are some of the topics I'm interested in:
What infrastructure have you found to be effective to maintain your Sakai support documentation for instructors?  (e.g. Wiki, database, extra pdf conversion software, wizards to create documents on demand, etc.) Do you maintain a separate public website to house your help files for
instructors, or do you use the inline help files made public, or use another
option not mentioned? What do you find is the most useful and frequently used support documentation?  (multi-media files e.g. videos, podcasts, pdf creations of single support documents, in-line web pages, custom search options, etc.) Other option(s) not mentioned
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

 regards,
Lorie
