[WG: I18N & L10N] metaprops, are they needed

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if the meta props files are still needed? They are created by the i18nedit application, but if I'm not mistaken, most use the Eclipse Resource Bundle Editor now anyway, so they are redundant. They are most likely out of date anyway so should they just be removed? They do not affect translations at all.
