David,

My question to you was, have you (or people you know) committed unused
keys removals from L10n files into trunk?

If you (or others) have done such thing, has the checking and trunk
removal commit been done for each and every tool included in Sakai 2.8?

What my modification does is to delete extra translations so that you don't waste time translating unusueful keys. Next step would be to automatically send commits to sakai trunk, branch, ...In this way, we would be able to create a quartz job (for example) to have all i18n files clean in each built. But I really don't know how to do it. Any idea or suggestion?

The main addition is a new option to automatically remove unused keys (keys existing in the translation but not in the default language) from the translation bundles (contributed by David Roldan Martinez) which makes translating a bit less work ;)
