[gradebook2-dev] Dropped students grades kept?

GB2 developers,

Do you have any findings on this issue about a dropped student losing his grades? I have been trying to reproduce the grade lost, but have no luck. I tried import/export after the student dropping and restarting the server after the dropping but neither of them will trigger the grades erasing for the student? Can you shed me some light on in what occasions this can happen? Some faculty are concerned about this and we are trying to pin down the reason.

Thanks a lot!

Kelly

I created ticket https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/GRBK-1154 for this issue.

We have 2 incidents reported. For the first one, the grades were restored from the gradebook history later. But for the second incident, the grades can't be found anywhere. Does import/exporting grades while the student was dropped make any difference?

Thanks,
Kelly

I don't think GB2 deletes grades in such a case. Please create a GRBK JIRA and provide as much information as possible. Also, did the user use import/export while the student was dropped?
