Thomas and GRBK2 folks,
Hope you had a great Thankgiving !
There are two issues that found by Rutgers faculty members recently
which might be worthy to fix:
1. When you export the grades to an excel sheet from GRBK2, the value of
column for grade is something like "A(98.5)%" or "B(88%)" , the faculty
could not sort the grade field. Sometimes they do want to sort the grade
and draw the curve for the whole class. The desired export column for
grade (or export one more field which just contains the letter grade,
not the letter grade with the percentage.)
Is there a relatively easy fix for this request ?
2. When the faculty members manually create the grade book items
(assignment which is not from the sakai assignment tool), if the student
did not submit the assignment, there is not grade assigned by the
instructor. The problem is from student view, the student could not even
see this un-submitted assignment, because there is not grade on that item.
It caused a lot of confusion between students and faculty. The desired
(or more reasonable scenario) is the un-submitted assignment should also
be shown in student view and there is not grade on that item.
Please let me know what you think,
Thanks,
-Kim
