Hi,
Does anyone have any objections to dropping xls as an export format in favour of always exporting xlsx for Excel export?
xlsx export was added in EVALSYS-755 to be used when necessary (more than 255 columns), but we recently fixed a bug where it doesn't always seem to use the right type, and dropping xls entirely simplifies the code.
https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/EVALSYS-1424
We've tested the fix for this in our 10.x evaluations branch. If no objections, I'll merge the fix to trunk and resolve the issue.

Cheers
Stephen
