[Contrib: Evaluation System] Has anybody fixed EVALSYS-1000 in their environment?

Hi everybody.

Investigating a local issue, I have found EVALSYS-1000, that was 
reported three years ago. No fix is available AFAIK.

As we think that is a major issue (after reopening a survey, it is 
reopened without confirmation from the user and is not possible to 
cancel it, in fact cancel button seems unuseful), I wonder if somebody 
has managed to fix it and if they could share their solution with us.
