Beth,

            Per your request, I have created a jira ticket, EVALSYS-1191, as a blocker and assigned it to you.  Attached to the ticket is the Email Notification section of the eval setting page showing the old functionality.  This screen shot is as of last year's sakai conference.

As Jim had mentioned, there was never any intent by UM (or others, I'm sure) to remove any functionality.

There has been a fair amount of change in the 1.4 branch (and trunk), which is why we're leading a Test Fest on February 1st - hopefully we can have some broad participation to catch any unintended changes and bugs to make this release a robust step forward in functionality. As part of the 1.4 release process, I think we should also make sure to put together some release notes to explain the new functionality -- this will have to be a community effort, with UM documenting the new features we've introduced and others documenting theirs. UM is committed to facilitating this release process.

In regards to the specific question of "how do I set the reminder frequency", I've attached some screenshots that might help. If there's still a problem that's not addressed (which there might be -- we all use evaluations differently), then help us understand with some screenshots of the old functionality so we can be sure we're talking about the right thing.
