I've reposted your question to the evaluation at collab.sakaiproject.org maillist -- you may get a better response from that more focused group. 

I'm not aware of any nightly server that has evalsys up yet. That said, we have an internal test instance with dummy data at U-M and I could you access if you'd like. The version of evalsys running there is a highly customized local version however, so it probably won't behave just like what you'd get from trunk. Contact me off-list if you're interested.

At U-M we use the tool in the Myworkspace (MWS), although I believe it can also be added to course sites by admin users.
