[cle-release-team] [sakai-pmc] Status of Proposals for Sakai 10

The svn cleanup proposal has been set aside due to a lack of consensus following objections raised by a number of PMC members. In addition, no member of the PMC seconded the motion calling for a formal vote as requested by the chair. As no supporting motion has been received, no vote will be held.

Cheers,

Anthony

Given this, I request that a PMC member who supports the proposal second the motion for a formal roll call vote. If a supporting motion is received on or before Thursday, 19 Dec., I will schedule a roll call vote. If not, the proposal will be set aside due to a lack of consensus on the question.

Based on discussions with Anthony and the Yale crew, I believe this is moving forward with the first step being to get the license consistently updated (which Anth is helping with). Yale is either ready, or really close to ready to contribute the code after that. I presume the next steps, after the license is updated and then someone with commit permissions to integrate it into core (and all related sub-tasks)? Do we have somebody tasked with doing that? My sense is that this is in pretty good shape overall though? Is anyone doing a review a la' Steve Swinsburg's review of the Edia Skin Manager?
