[cle-release-team] [sakai2-tcc] Emerging consensus to focus on 2.10

I am worried about QA level of effort. It has really dropped off recently. Hopefully that is due to local upgrades and need for local attention intensifying, but if not, and it is a trend then that could be an issue. Not sure how to re-energize the QA effort, though I'll do what I can. Maybe a webinar or two will help. For example a Jira webinar several weeks down the road that I'm planning (don't have specific dates or outline yet).

Where does an assessment of this come into play - https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/TCC/TCC+CLE+2.9+Action+Items ?

Another agenda item tomorrow is John Bush's Selenium testing infrastructure - https://github.com/johntbush/sakai-test-suite . I'm curious how much effort it would be to have an automated, or semi-automated, testing infrastructure? The more we can do with this, the more we alleviate the risk of insufficient QA resources.

Tomorrow at 8 am Eastern / 12 pm GMT for TCC - CLECC meeting. It is an open meeting. All are invited.

The beta period was still really long with a beta release almost every month. The big question I'd have is how much and what specifically will be QA'd, since the QA process since 2.9.0 has been much different than any point in the past.
